Paper Couture XVIII: Red Velvet Bustier

Paper Couture is proud to offer the bustier template as part of the paper wardrobe project for December. For help with downloading, visit How to Print Templates.

template is 3 x 5 inches
You may have noticed that the back of the bustier was modified slightly from the one shown in the video. I thought you might like this template better.

The video will show you how to overcome cutting/covering challenges with the back of your top being lower than the front. The techniques presented can also be applied to other templates. Enjoy!

Paper Couture XVII: Pocahontas Double Bonus

Paper couture is giving you a Pocahontas double bonus this month. For those of you not brave enough to try out the one shouldered dress you can use Pocahontas 1.

Pocahontas 1 print size is 5" x 7"
I encourage you to challenge yourselves a little bit and try out Pocahontas 2. There are a couple of things to be aware of when using this template which are discussed in the video so be sure to check it out.

The video tutorial below does not show you how to cover the pieces so if you missed that or need a refresher, please refer to the Basic Tank video. A link to that instruction can be found in the left sidebar.

Thanks for joining me! I hope you enjoyed this and as always, if you create this dress, feel free to leave a comment on this post with a link to your work so I can have a peek!

Paper Couture XIV: Paper Skirt Challenge

If you're excited about the Ms. September dress I posted yesterday, I've got good news! As promised, below is the template file for the blouse. The print size I am using is 5 x 7 inches.

I am also posting a video tutorial on how to assemble the blouse. I have not provided any kind of template for the pleated skirt because I am challenging you to come up with your own skirt creation.

If you use the template, I would love to see what you create so feel free to give a shout out in your comments that includes a link where I can find your work. Have fun!

Happy Birthday Miss August

Happy Birthday to me today! I thought it would be a perfect day to post my first contribution to the Paper Wardrobe Project. Appropriately, I call this one Miss August.

Look for a video tutorial showing you how to make this lovely dress to post on Friday. A free template will also be provided. I usually like to post these at the same time but I screwed up this time. ;)
